Abeadze State College is located in Abeadze Dominase, about twenty (20) kilometers from Makessim, along the Dominase-Kyeakor road in the Mfantseman Municipality. It is a co-educational institution established in 2004 by the chiefs and elders of the Abeadze State led by Daseebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, as a Community Senior High School. However, the school was closed down in 2017 and was absorbed in 2018 by the Government of Ghana and 209 students were placed in the school by CSSPS but only 107 registered in the first semester and six joined in the second semester. In the first semester and early part of the second semester the male boarders were housed in the residence of Daseebre Kwebu Ewusi VII whilst the female boarders were accommodated by the former headmistress of the school in the person of Miss Margaret Forson. This was due to the fact that the boarding house was not conducive enough to house the boarders. The Member of Parliament, Hon. Ekow Kwansah Hayford who was instrumental in lobbying for the absorption of the school by the government helped to put the boarding house in shape. On 30th March 2019, the boarders were all relocated to the boarding house and were fed for the first time on 1st April, 2019. ABSORPTION On 29th May, 2019 the school was absorbed by the Government through the effort of Hon. Ekow Kwansah Hayford- MP of Mfantsiman Constituency. The absorption took effect from September 2018 when the 2018/2019 academic year commenced and Miss Margaret Forson handed over the school to the government-appointed substantive Headmistress, Mrs. Gifty Andoh. At the time Mr Essuman took over, there were twenty-five (25) Teaching Staff: seven (7) females and eighteen (18) males. No Non-Teaching staff had been appointed yet. The total number of students admitted so far was ninety-six 96), comprising forty-one (41) boys and fifty-five (55) girls. Eight months later the Headmistress Mrs. Gifty Andoh, was re-posted to Obrachire Senior High Technical School and the Acting Municipal Director of Education for Mfantseman Municipality was given the oversight responsibility of the school. The Assistant Headmaster (Administration) of Assin Manso Senior High School was appointed and re-posted as the Substantive Headmaster. Five months later the headmaster, Mr. Noah Nikolai Essuman was also re-posted to Mankessim Senior Technical High School. Ms. Hagar Blay the Assistant Headmistress (Domestic) of Senya Senior High School was appointed as the substantive Headmistress from February 2020 to October 2022. The Mfantseman Municipal Director of Education, Ms. Betty Kurentsiwa Smith, took over and acted as the Headmistress of the school from 31st October 2022 to 8th February 2023. She handed over to the substantive Headmistress of the school, Ms. Gifty Kimful-Mills, on the 8th of February 2023. Ms. Gifty Kimful-Mills also handed over to Mrs. Helena Sarpong Asamoah on 15th January 2025.
